Learn backend development by coding a Werewolf game.

A free course to learn NestJS from scratch. You read, you code, and every part adds a real feature to the game: roles, the night, votes, the wolves' chat.

Prerequisites: know the basics of programming (variables, conditions, loops, functions).

Clémence can see the other wolf, but not the villagers' roles. The server decides what each player is allowed to know: you'll code that in part 8.

The path

Thirteen parts, from your first HTTP request all the way to microservices. Allow a few weeks per stage, at your own pace.

In the course text

The Werewolf game

We build it together, step by step: villages, dealing roles, day and night, votes, the seer’s and the witch’s powers, real-time chat.

In your exercises

The B2B marketplace

You build it on your own, applying each concept to another domain: sellers, catalog, cart, orders. Automated tests tell you when you got it right.
